LOL, it is simple.

Dude the splits are awesome - just the tweeter is hectic harsh at high volumes. I'm trying to think of ways to tone it down. It's already set to -6db on the x-over.

When I sit in the car when the engine is off anf the volume at a nice listening level it sounds so sweet, but when I'm driving and turn the volume up, the tweet dominates.

Give the tweaters enough time to play in. They will mellow out a little.

PS if you still want the cable I took it out last night.

I have 2 lengths of +- 3M each

The other 2 lengths are about 5M each but Im keeping them to run the splits in the Civic.

Hey thanks man - I actually got what I needed last week. I went to Communica down the road from my office and got some decent cable.

The sound is on hold for now. My wife and I are having our second child on Friday and my car needs to go to the dealer for a steering column malfunction. I cr@pped myself when the error message came up because I thought it was something I had done. Luckily a mate from school days is a BMW auto electrician down in Durbs. He said there is a technical bullitin out on the problem, it's common on E90's and got nothing to do with the sound install. He also reconned that the m/plan should be ok with my install if I haven't cut any wires. I'm still going to take the amp and sub out before it goes to the dealer next week - just to be on the safe side  I wouldn't want to be coughing up for the repair to the steering column!!
