i've never seen a car without screws on the shock mounts.
Maybe they are covered up, have another look.
Otherwise Take a photo and post it so i can see.

Strut Brace

Postby frikkie_meyer » Mon Dec 08, 2008 12:22 pm

Hi

I just installed mine yesterday... Try and find a strut for a 98 Tiburon... Next to impossible! So, I bought one for a Golf MK2 and modified it to fit. Few hours of drilling, grinding and spraypainting and voila! Strut ahoy!

I agree with the Chuck. Never seen a car without mount screws. Take a pic so we can scrutinise it a little...

Use that 1. U bracing the shock top. Now... Use a bar, bolted to the one and the other. Simple.
